Fruit Tart

We hope that you and yours had a very Merry Christmas! This week, as you wind down from family gatherings, church activities, opening gifts, and making a ton of homemade food, treat yourself to this tasty treat. Since the holidays are over you deserve an easy recipe: This recipe is not made from scratch. That makes me smile a smile of relief. What about you? And, since the New Year is still a few days away you deserve to sneak in a yummy treat before the countdown to your super duper healthy resolutions begins. This delicious, and simple, fruit tart is a perfect way to end the holidays!

To start, grab a pre-made pie crust and the rest of the ingredients.

Prep, bake, and cool the pie crust according to its directions.

Heat and stir the chocolate. Cover the bottom of the pie crust with the chocolate crumbles.

Fill the pie crust with pudding.

Slice the fruit and add it to the top of the pie, then add chocolate chips.

Pre-made pie crust, 1

Vanilla pudding, 3 cups

Milk chocolate chips, 1 ½ cups

Strawberries, 2 cups

Kiwi, 3

1. Cook and cool the pre-made pie crust according to its directions.

2. Heat 1 cup of the milk chocolate chips in the microwave for 1 minute, stir, and cover the bottom of the pie crust with the milk chocolate crumbles.

3. Add the vanilla pudding to the pie.

4. Slice the strawberries and kiwi, and add them to the top of the pie.

5. Add ½ cup of the milk chocolate chips to the top outer edge of the pie.

Serve, eat, and enjoy!

Store in the refrigerator.
